Thank you for visiting our online consultation for a proposal by Translink to enhance the current Park and Ride facilities at Moira Train Station to increase capacity by 445 spaces.
The proposed new Park and Ride facility will include a tarmacked parking area, landscaping, boundary fencing, CCTV and floodlighting (powered by solar panel array and associated battery storage building), cycle shelter building, storm water retention pond and the widening of Station Road to facilitate a right-hand turning lane and footpath provision for pedestrian access to the station.
Under normal circumstances, consultation with the wider public on the proposal would take place through a public event, however due to current COVID-19 social distancing restrictions, the public consultation event is to be held online. Our consultation webpage therefore provides you with access to information on this proposed development in advance of the submission of a planning application and enables you to leave feedback.
We encourage you to take an active role in developing these proposals through providing feedback using the form below. The consultation material can be viewed and downloaded by clicking on the documents under 'View Proposal Documents' to the right.
