Redevelopment of Calvert House following planning approval

Calvert House is located in the heart of the city’s retail core on the corner of Castle Place and Royal Avenue. The property is a six storey building with ground floor retail and upper floor offices constructed in the 1980s with a glazed frontage and large barrel arch on the top floor.

Gravis Planning secured planning approval from Belfast City Council in March 2019 and further amendments in September 2019 for the redevelopment of existing building comprising the replacement of shop front elevation, change of use and extensions to upper floors to accommodate retail, ancillary storage and office uses.

Construction work is ongoing and expected to continue until early 2020.
