Gravis Planning has secured planning permission for a high-quality residential development at Sand Road, Galgorm

Gravis Planning has secured planning permission for a high-quality residential development at Sand Road, Ballymena

The development by KMBC Ltd. represents the second phase of the high-quality ‘Castlegate’ development in the Galgorm area of Ballymena.

The second phase of the Castlegate scheme comprises 66 residential properties, including a mix of detached, semi-detached and bungalow dwellings. The development also includes a generous open space allowance, associated landscaping, access roads and ancillary works.

The Castlegate development, whilst mainly consisting of family homes, will help to meet housing demand in the local area for a range of potential buyers. Work on the housing development will also bring a significant private investment of £25m into the local area and create much needed jobs in the construction sector as we move to a post Covid-19 recovery period in our local economy.

Planning Approval was granted by Mid & East Antrim Borough Council at the monthly planning meeting in October 2020.
