ABOUT US

Gravis Planning is one of the largest Town Planning Consultancy practices on the island of Ireland, with offices in Belfast and Dublin. We manage planning applications and provide specialist planning advice for projects across all sectors of development including residential, retail, energy, commercial, healthcare, tourism and industrial. Our in-house Strategic Communications team is made up of public affairs professionals who work alongside our planning consultants to manage all aspects of stakeholder engagement with local communities, political representatives, business organisations and the media.

GRADUATE/JUNIOR STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT

We are seeking to recruit a talented Graduate and/or Junior Consultant to join our Strategic Communications team in Northern Ireland. Based in our office in Holywood, you will be expected to provide support to the team through a variety of tasks including political and media monitoring, stakeholder research, report writing, event management and website/ social media content management. This is a challenging and rewarding full-time position within a growing company. The successful candidate will work on some of the most exciting development and infrastructure projects in Northern Ireland.

ABOUT YOU

The successful applicant must have:

• Strong academic qualifications (e.g. a degree in a relevant area such as Communications, Politics, Law etc)

• Knowledge of public and political affairs in Northern Ireland

• Digital proficiency with skills in social media platforms

• Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and a motivation to progress

• A full driving license and have access to own transport

• Junior Consultant will have at least 1 years relevant working experience in a PR / communications role

Starting salary at Graduate Consultant level will be £20k and Junior Consultant level will be £25k plus benefits (including company laptop, phone allowance and pension contribution). We also operate hybrid working for all our consultants. The successful applicant will be expected to start as soon as possible.
