Proposal of Application Notice submitted for new Gasworks office accommodation

Strategic Planning have submitted a Proposal of Application Notice for new office accommodation in the Gasworks area of South Belfast. The proposal, to be submitted by Inislyn Ltd, is for 6485m2 of Grade A office accommodation and modification of an existing hotel car park.

The site is part of a number of development subplot parcels which have been identified together as the Northern Fringe and considered the last phase of the Gasworks estate. As the most advanced stage of development within the Northern Fringe, this office proposal will act as a catalyst for the overall masterplan, allowing completion of the Gasworks as originally envisaged.

Pre-Application Community Consultation will begin shortly including individual engagement with community groups, local businesses and elected representatives as well as a public event.
