Consultation on plans for the restoration of Cairndhu House

Gravis Planning, working alongside Manor Architects, has held a public consultation event on plans for the restoration of the derelict Cairndhu House outside Larne.

The £30m project will bring this well-known listed Victorian building back into sustainable use and includes wellbeing, staff areas, kitchen, public spaces at ground floor, 12 No. apartments to first and second floor, restoration of stable block to provide 7 No. apartments, new build 80 bed nursing home and 5 No. new build retirement cottages.

It is expected that a planning application will be submitted to Mid and East Antrim District Council before the end of 2018.
