L.E. Pritchitt and Co. Ltd Milk Intake

Amendment of a previously approved scheme which included an extension to existing factory to provide additional production area, new milk intake area, new waste handling area with chemical storage and new security hut as well as site works to include relocation of staff car parking, completion of site road and a new on site roadway.

Our Involvement

We prepared a planning statement detailing how the proposal was both in keeping with the character of the surrounding area and complied with both the extant Area Plan Zonings and the prevailing planning policy. We also undertook a programme of engagement with Newtownards Councillors and other elected representatives in the Strangford constituency to highlight the economic importance of the proposal to a major local employer.
