We were commissioned to lead an appeal against the refusal of planning permission for retail warehousing on the grounds of Prematurity. This task involved providing an appeal strategy to the clients and architects whilst simultaneously running a parallel application for much larger retail warehouse on site (6000m2).
We revised the appeal proposal to sit comfortably with Strategic Retail policy and distinguished the appeal site from other competing sites consequently winning the case securing permission for a single 4000m2 retail warehouse and subsequently securing planning permission for larger 6000m2 unit.
