Dublin Airport

Gravis Planning takes a lead role in offering planning advice to the daa (Dublin Airport Authority) which operates Dublin Airport. Dublin Airport is Ireland’s Principal Airport and the largest gateway on the island. It is the 12th busiest airport in Europe and in 2019, reported a total of 32.9 million passengers. Dublin Airport is also the fifth largest airport in Europe for transatlantic connectivity and this growth has been underpinned by the increasing numbers of connecting passengers who fly through Dublin.

OUR INVOLVEMENT

Gravis Planning were engaged by daa to provide planning advisory support for numerous planning issues within the airport. We have and continue to provide advice on numerous planning applications and planning issues for the airport. We also support the DAA planning team on an ongoing basis to safeguard airport operations against third party planning applications within designated zones surrounding Dublin Airport, to ensure that third-party development does not impact detrimentally on the airport and associated airspace.
