Housing development at Meadowvale Road

The proposal by developers Fraser Houses and Fraser Homes is a 110-unit residential development off Meadowvale Road in Carryduff, South Belfast.

The proposal is a £20m investment which will provide quality new family homes as well as supporting up to 75 construction jobs.

OUR INVOLVEMENT

Gravis Planning were instructed by developers Fraser Homes and Fraser Houses to provide strategic communications support for this high-quality residential development in South Belfast.

Our work included managing the stakeholder engagement alongside the planning application from pre-application stage (including statutory Pre-Application Community Consultation) through to the planning committee stage.

We engaged with the local community, political representatives, and community groups on the plans. Two public events were also organised whereby residents could view the plans and discuss with the project team. It was highlighted on the display boards at the second public event how residents’ feedback from the first event was listened to and factored into the amendments to the scheme.

The project was approved by Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council Planning Committee.
