We provided pre-application advice to the client and architect and instigated a number of pre-application meetings with Planning Service and NIEA to discuss the proposal.
Following NIEAs continued objection to the proposal, through effective lobbying, we gained support for the proposal from a number of local councillors and MLAs and, along with strong planning and design arguments, were able to overcome NIEAs opposition to the proposal and obtain planning approval for the project.
