Representing a number of clients, developers and land-owners in the Mid Ulster District Council Area during the development of the new Local Development Plan (LDP).
We have been engaged by a number of clients to represent them during the production of the new Local Development Plan for the Mid Ulster District Council Area. The Preferred Options Paper (POP) launched in November 2016 was the first formal stage in the preparation of the new Plan for the district and promoted debate in relation to key strategic planning issues arising in the Plan area. On behalf of our clients, We prepared a number of written statements in response to key issues set out within the POP and submitted evidence to protect the existing zonings of lands within current settlement limits, while also making cases for a number of lands located outside current settlement limits that clients wished to be considered as development land. We will continue to support and represent these clients throughout the LDP process, in particularly at key stages such as the publication of the Plan Strategy and the Local Policies Plan.
