Oak Furniture Land Mezzanine

A planning application for the construction of an internal mezzanine floor (837m2) for retail sales purposes at Unit 9, Shane Retail Park.

Successful approval allowed solid oak furniture retailer, Oak Furniture Land, to take forward their first venture in Northern Ireland creating 15 new jobs.

Our Involvement

We submitted the application and carried out a Sequential Test to assess the availability of alternative locations. This concluded that the proposal was acceptable at Shane Retail Park.

Local Councillors from the Botanic DEA were briefed on the proposal on the need for a speedy decision to secure the investment and job creation.
