Our Involvement
Gravis successfully led the project design team in securing permission for a 299 MW Open Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT) power plant at Tynagh. A planning application for the development was submitted to Galway County Council in November 2021, with a Notification of Decision to Grant Planning Permission subsequently received in April 2022. The Council’s decision was appealed by a Third Party and, following a comprehensive response submitted by Gravis Planning, An Bord Pleanála issued a Final Grant in February 2023.
