We are pleased to have received planning approval from Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council’s Planning Committee, on behalf of KMBC Properties Ltd., for a residential development on Knock Road, Ballymoney consisting of 126 houses.
The scheme will provide a significant amount of high-quality housing, of which over a third will be social or affordable. The development will be well connected to various amenities in Ballymoney Town Centre – including public spaces, retailers and local schools – and is designed to reflect the rich natural landscape that exists on site. The proposal comprises a number of green open spaces, including a play area, which create focal points for residents to foster a sense of community whilst enjoying the outdoors. Existing natural vegetation on the site of the proposed development will be enhanced, with the existing planting around the site boundary supplemented with locally sourced native species to enhance biodiversity and provide screening.
Gravis managed both the planning application for this proposal and also the delivery of Pre-Application Community Consultation (PACC) in advance of its submission. We look forward to seeing the positive impact that the development of the scheme will have in Ballymoney over the coming years.
