This month marks 5 years since Gravis Planning opened its Dublin office, as we expanded into the Irish market, servicing client projects across the island of Ireland and the UK.
Having been providing consultancy services to a growing and diverse client base for over 20 years, Gravis Planning is now the largest independently owned Planning consultancy of its kind on the island of Ireland, to offer both Planning consultancy and integrated Strategic Communications services in the UK and Ireland.
Commenting on the 5th anniversary of Gravis’ formal entrance into the Irish market through our Dublin office, Director of Planning Consultancy in Ireland, Ed Barrett, said:
“Our presence in the Irish market has grown steadily and progressively year on year. It has been hard work, but very satisfying. While we provide consultancy services on all types of planning work from residential development to commercial and retail, energy and infrastructure, we have established a very strong position in some key sectors in the Irish economy.
“Our ability to also service work seamlessly across different jurisdictions throughout the UK and Ireland has been a major attraction for our clients. Whilst the pandemic was a challenging period for everyone, I’m delighted to say we came out of it stronger, and we have built a great team. We’re very well positioned for growth and I’m very optimistic about the next five years!”
Commenting on the anniversary, Group Managing Director of Strategic Communications, David Kerr, added:
“Gravis Planning has been trading for over 20 years and in that time, we have worked on investment projects worth collectively €15billion. We have delivered planning approvals for over 8,000 homes, 5,000,000sqft of commercial development and 2.5GW of electricity generation to mention a few stats.”
“In 2018 we could see the strategic need to service our client work across the island of Ireland, and we embarked on building a very strong team of consultants in a new Dublin city centre office. We now have an outstanding team of experienced planners and communications professionals who can handle any type of planning work on any project at any scale.
“We have taken the same approach to growing the Gravis Planning business in Great Britain with new offices opened this year in Edinburgh and London. We are certain that our ability to service work across multiple jurisdictions, gives confidence to our clients and that is borne out in the type of projects we are currently managing.
“Our move into Dublin and Irish market has been very successful and we are confident that we will continue to grow our business in Ireland in the years ahead.”
