Gravis colleagues were delighted to attend the Royal Town Planning Institute's National Awards for Planning Excellence in London last month, having been nominated for the 'Excellence in Planning in Heritage and Culture' award for our work on Queen's University Belfast's new Business School & Student Hub at Riddel Hall.
We were one of a handful of regional finalists from Northern Ireland who made it to the grand finals in London, and were up against some excellent competition in the form of other projects which are also at the cutting edge of preserving cultural heritage through planning. Although we didn't win, it was great to be recognised at such a high level for our work on Riddel Hall.
Congratulations to all of the worthy winners across the various categories on the night, and many thanks to the RTPI for organising what was a brilliant celebration of planning and the positive impact it has in society.
