Planning permission granted for new Lidl store in Edinburgh

Working alongside Isherwood and Ellis Architects, we were delighted to secure planning permission from Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council for two separate projects at Antrim Primary School and Fairview Primary School in Ballyclare, on behalf of the Education Authority for Northern Ireland.
These projects are part of the School Enhancement Programme (SEP) which was first established in June 2012 to target investments to meet the immediate and pressing needs in schools, through smaller scale works, where new build major works are not deemed affordable or deliverable within the budget available.
The planning approvals at both schools see the replacement of several temporary modular classrooms with new classrooms within the proposed new build extension. These extensions will cater mostly for younger pupils in Antrim PS and Fairview PS and will include new classrooms, resource areas, multi-purpose rooms and other offices, stores and WC facilities.
Gravis successfully managed the planning application for this project, as well as the Pre-Application Community Consultation (PACC) required which involved the delivery of two community consultation events in each school prior to the submission of both planning applications.
