The Proposal
The Department for the Economy is proposing to investigate sub-surface geothermal energy potential at lands within the College for Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE’s) Greenmount campus, 45 Tirgracy Rd, Muckamore, Co Antrim, BT41 4PS.
This consultation webpage allows you to view information about the proposed development in advance of a planning application being submitted and provides you with the opportunity to submit your own feedback on the proposals.
There will also be an opportunity to meet the project team at a 'drop-in' public consultation event which will take place on Friday 22 November 2024, between 12.30pm-2pm and 4pm-7pm in the Function Suite, Antrim Forum Leisure Centre, 20 Lough Road, Antrim BT41 4DQ.
Members of the project team will be present at this event to respond to any questions you may have regarding the proposals.
The consultation period for this project will run until Friday 17th January 2025.
