Ed is a chartered town planner with extensive consultancy experience gained in both the UK and Ireland.
About
Ed joined Gravis in 2018 to act as Director of Planning from the company’s Irish office, having previously worked at McCutcheon Mulcahy in both Dublin and Cork, as well as at senior levels with GL Hearn and Martin Robeson Planning Practice in London.
Ed has a broad range of planning experience, advising private and public sector clients across a variety development sectors including residential, retail, tourism, hospitality, education and industrial. He has advised on a wide range of complex, large scale proposals across the UK and Ireland, successfully delivering planning permission for a number of landmark developments. He is an expert at managing large sub-consultant teams to ensure successful project delivery and at building positive, collaborative relationships with local authority planners.
Ed has acted as ‘Expert Witness’ at a range of property arbitration hearings and appeared at Public Inquiries and Oral Hearings for clients in both the UK and Ireland.
