Gary Mackin

Gary obtained an undergraduate MPlan Honours degree in Town and Regional Planning from the University of Liverpool and an MSc in Urban and Rural Design from Queens University Belfast.
About
Before joining Gravis Planning, Gary gained extensive experience in the private sector both in the UK, Ireland and Middle-East. Working as part of the Planning and Urban Design Team in the CallisonRTKL Dubai Office, Gary helped deliver a number of large-scale mixed-use Master plan and Urban Design Projects the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Asia.
More locally, Gary has been involved in the submission of strategic housing development (SHD) applications to An Bord Pleanála, the production of design and access statements, urban design statements, planning and appeal statements, as well as zoning submissions to local councils during local development plan consultation periods.
Gary is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and Accredited Member of the Congress for New Urbanism, as well as a LEED Associated Professional for Neighbourhood Development and Certified Project Management Professional.
