Martin Kelly
Director, Retail Planning
Martin obtained a BSc Honours degree in Geography and a Post Graduate Diploma in Town and Country Planning from Queen's University Belfast.


About
Upon graduating he entered the private sector, going on to become Associate Director in the highly reputable Ostick and Williams Architects and Town Planners in Belfast.
Martin manages major planning application submissions, area plan submissions, site feasibility assessments, supporting planning statements, licensing applications, Certificates of Lawful Development and advises on Judicial Reviews.
He has developed a particular expertise in retail planning where he has prepared numerous successful Retail Impact Assessments in support of major retail developments. Martin has advised clients on a range of retail developments including major retail parks, warehousing and foodstores as well as overseeing successful proposals to accommodate new entrant retailers, particularly discount retailers.
Martin has also acted as expert witness at Planning Appeals and Public Inquiries.
