Appeal of enforcement Notice issued by the local planning authority (CC&GBC) in relation to a 500kw anaerobic digester, combined heat and power plant, ancillary equipment and structures and associated hardcored area through the submission of a retrospective planning application, including comprehensive Environmental Statement, to the Planning Appeals Commission.
ISSUES ENCOUNTERED
OUR INVOLVEMENT
Gravis managed the planning process upon service of the enforcement notice by the local planning authority. This involved appealing the enforcement notice and submission of a retrospective planning (or deemed) application to the PAC. As part of this we managed a significant team of expert consultants in the preparation of an extensive Environmental Statement for this retrospective development as well as attending the PAC as an expert witness. Our Strategic Communications Team also took forward community and political engagement to ensure that the improvements being delivered by the retrospective planning application were effectively communicated.
